is pleased to announce
The 2001-02 Biodrama Training
with Katriona Munthe-Lindgren, Ph.D., & Biodramatists.
The Theater of Life, while of particular interest to those in the Arts and Healing professions, will be rewarding to all who seek to deepen their experience of the Psyche.
This is a four-part course, based on the four primal roles of Biodrama, through which we will develop the ability to play in the fields of the unconscious, and of the Spirit. The year-long training will happen during one intensive residential week per season. 4 seasonal locations TBA.

Virgil: Week of October 21 through 27, 2001

The figure of Virgil, Dante's guide through the Inferno, accompanies the protagonist throughout a Biodrama. With lantern and bag, Virgil is the Self, nurturing its light, sifting experience and gathering Wisdom. This week, we explore the role of the guide and witness.

Thanatos: Week of January 20 through 26, 2002

Death, change and transformation challenge human illusions of stability and control. Looking back on the dark passage of Winter Solstice, we explore fear, vulnerability, and our ability to move beyond the limits of what we know to find renewal.

Eros: Week of April 21 through 27, 2002

Love, connection, relatedness; the profound mystery of the Other awaits us in the Portal of Eros. Far more than romance and sexuality, although encompassing both, Eros invites us to savor the entire feast of Life, with all its bittersweet complexity.

Bios: Week of July 7 through 13, 2002

The Portal of Bios is our birth into Time and the Journey. The figure of Bios, literally Life, brings us into the world, nurtures us and/or abandons us, giving both handicaps and great gifts. We are called to a new birth and a conscious undertaking of the quest.

We invite you to join us as we embark on this most extraordinary of voyages!

This is a projected schedule only. Actual curriculum and dates TBA. For more information, please contact B.I.O.S.
